Interesting...
The chronotebook was a judges’ prize winner in last year’s Muji Award International Design Competition and is available in Muji stores across the globe. The notebook chucks out the gridularity of the typical day planner and puts an analog clock in the middle of the page.
It’s the simplest manifestation of what a day planner is all about: time on paper. The clocks occupy a small amount of space on the page and rest is completely flexible. You can write in your own dates at the top of each page, and you can treat the rest of the space like a blank page.

Eph 5:15-17 ESV
(15) Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,
(16) making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
(17) Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
I have a productivity blog which I have lately lost interest in because the Lord recently has revolutionized how I get things done. He took some of the natural productivity habits I had been struggling to maintain and energized them with the power of the Holy Ghost.
So here is my new and improved productivity methodology...
Hab 2:2-3 ESV
(2) And the LORD answered me: "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.
(3) For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end--it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
I then use my Moleskine Weekly Planner to write down the plan and track my performance during the week. Every night before I go to bed I review my Moleskine to go over what I did today and to remind myself what tomorrow agenda is.
Jer 30:2 ESV
(2) "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you.
Another thing I have found very helpful is keeping a journal documenting all the things I've received from the Lord in prayer. It's so helpful in times of great stress to simply get out the book and remember what the Lord has said and get myself back on track.

Maybe a little of both...
DIY iPod Touch Dock and Moleskine Stand made from the original iPod Touch Box. I was looking for a cheap dock for my iPod Touch. The little plastic stand is a fault, when you often use your Touch directly after syncinc and other things nearby the computer. Now everything I take with me every day is in place: iPod Touch, Moleskine for offline GTD, Shure in-ears (in the black case), plug power adaptor from macbook pro.

The lord has heard my cry...
Now many asked about when the leather version of 2009 diary will be launched. I heard that it will arrive in Hong Kong around end-August. So it will be around mid-August for people in Europe to buy them. The catch, only 1 retailer per country is allowed to sell the limited edition. It will be disappointing a lot of fans, I love the look and feel of the notebook though :)

Chris over at The Weekly Review shares on how he does his weekly review the old school way, with pen and paper.
While I still use and believe in most of the concepts of GTD, I think Bill has an elegant solution here. Especially with the way he uses his notebook to set up his daily tasks (be sure to check out this example on Flickr). Here was something I could incorporate into my workflow. Bill uses a master list, in the back of his notebook. Mine is simply kept in Things. But I could see how his idea of including personal and work related tasks on the same page, as well as a timeline when things break down, could really work for me.

I'm resisting the urge to get one right now...
In my pursuit to find fun and new ways to express my creativity on paper, I stumbled across a new art-form called Zentangles. A zentangle is a method of creating images from imaginative patterns. You start by dividing off sections of a small piece of paper and then you draw repetitive doodles and designs within each section. (These are known as tangles). Each doodle and design has its own special and unique name and of course, you're welcome to make up your own tangles. When you are done filling in each space with a different design, you've completed a unique piece of art.
The Zentangle website provides extensive information on the benefits of this art form, where they came from, and how to get started with one of their kits. In my haste to start utilizing this simple-yet-elegant art-form, I ordered one of their Zentangle Kits for $49 USD. Each kit comes with 34 tiles (pre-cut pieces of thick, watercolor paper), 2 Sakura Micron pens, pencils and a sharpener, an instructional book and DVD, a 20-sided dice, and a small Legend that contains 20 tangles to get you all started with.

GFeller makes leather Moleskine cases…for about 20 bucks I converted this Franklin planner case into a new home for my M.
A second skin for your Large Moleskine®Notebook (5 x 8 ¼”) that itself will become an elegant heirloom. Priced at $39.95 it is an excellent value and will provide exceptional service. We used our regular English kip, a thin very tight-grained leather that is exceedingly durable. (Also available in Chocolate or Black calf finished cowhide or buffalo, depending upon availability.) This hand cut cover features extended inside cover flaps to completely eliminate the “Cover Bump” normally encountered with slip on covers. The rear inside flap has been slit to allow use of the elastic closure Moleskine® made famous. (via gfeller)

Well if you can't get one imported...
I recently became enamored with the Midori Traveler's Notebook. Since they are so hard to get here in the states, I decided to make my own version of it. The size is a little different. It's slightly taller and wider. I sized it so that I could make my own refills out of folded 8.5"x11" paper. The cover is a nice soft leather that will wear very well. I still need to make a book mark and a pen holder. See the inside pics for more information. (via flickr)
